Barbora Krčíková Supervisor: PhDr. Helena Vomáčková, Ph.D. Title: Longitudinal observation of parameters of dymanic postural stability on patients with sclerosis multiplex in terms of biological treatment Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe the postural movement behaviour (independent of therapeutic intervention) in patients with multiple sclerosis referred for biological treatment. Methods: The study used longitudinal monitoring of fatigue and quality of walking in probands (n=2, female, ages 24 and 52) using the Multiple Fatigue Impact Scale (MFIS) and the Multiple Sclerosis Walking Scale-12 (MSWS-12) questionnaires, Longitudinal follow-up of changes in selected parameters of dynamic postural stability obtained on the NeuroCom SMART EquiTest System (Limits of Stability) and longitudinal follow-up of mobility tests using the T25FW (Timed 25 Foot Walk), 6MWT (6-minute Walk Test) and 5STS (5-repetition sit-to-stand test). I ABSTRACT Autor: Mgr. Helena Vomáčková Title: The Possibilities of Evaluation of the Sport Performance on the Postural Functions - CDP Normative Data for Sport Population Objective: The main aim of the dissertation is to determine the standardized values (normative data) of individual parameters of test protocols obtainable with usage of dynamic computer posturography of the NeuroCom SMART EquiTest System (hereinafter SMEQ). The partial second goal is to compare the determined normative data with the existing values used for routine evaluation of postural stability given by the SMEQ software. Another partial goal is to determine the reliability of individual test parameters in an additional pilot survey. Methods: Data for the determination of standardized values were obtained by laboratory measurements using the SMEQ system and subsequently were converted, unified and adjusted for further processing by statistical "software R". To determine the normative data, an input data-set obtained from a deliberately selected group of active athletes (n = 245) in the selected age range of 20 - 30 years with an average age of 24,04 (± 1,23 years), with an average body height of 173, 29 (± 10,04 cm), mean body weight 68,46 (± 13,10 kg) and mean BMI 22,67 (± 3,04) was used. Title: The effect of "brain gym" exercise on tennis players' postural stability Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether "brain gym" exercise completed for 30 days has an impact on tennis players' postural stability Summary: Altogether 12 women, 18-30 year olds, participated in the pilot study. The probands had completed a 30-day exercise intervention program which included a daily exercise for a maximum of 10 minutes. The postural stability was measured before and after the intervention using Neurocom Smart EquiTest System (Sensory Organization Test, Motor Control Test, Limits of Stability) and Standing Stork Test which evaluace the ability to balance vertically on the tip of one lower limb. The measured data were processed by the program Neurocom Data Analyzer, from which the data were subsequently transferred to Microsoft Excel 2010, SPSS 2007 and GPower 2019. To evaluate the effect of intervention the statistical methods - Shapiro-Wilk test, Student's paired t-test, Wilcoxon test were used and Cohen's d was used to determine clinical significance. Influence of airflow control with vocal cords on dynamic stand stabilization

Title: The effect of airway control on stance dynamic stability Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out whether and how will the influence of vocal cords modulation be manifested on the dynamic stabilization of the standing body during translational shifts of the supporting surface of different intensities and A-P directions. Thus, building on the findings of Massery et al (2013). Methods: The thesis has the character of qualitative research. The experiment was attended by 23 healthy probands, of which 7 men and 16 women aged 20-40 years. Spirometry was used to test the objectivity of airway airflow during breathing / phoning maneuvers with different vocal cords positioning and dynamic computer posturography using the Neurocom Smart Equi Test System and its Motor Control Test, which evaluated the effectiveness of automatic postural responses. We connected the posturograph with the spirometer using the Kistler accelerometer (type 8766A100BB). The course of the experiment was simultaneously recorded by a camera (GoPro Hero 7). The Smart EquiTest System generated three postural perturbations of different intensity (S - sub treshold, M - threshold, L - saturating) in two directions (anterior translation / posterior translation).
